The Truth......

The Truth.....

.......shall set ye free...

........can be painful.....

shooting the messenger only hides the truth - it doesn't change it.

As Reverend Wright said, the result of the truth of advisor, committee & trustee decisions is....

"...coming home to roost..."

While it is true that there were questions about fixing problems in some units and the common property areas that frustrated residents, it is TRUE that the residents banded together and tackled the issues successfully. The Advisors did a fabulous job of communicating resident's concerns to the previous owners. They volunteered their time and energy to keep up the pressure till each problem was fixed. True - unlike most other communities, Shining Rock has a website that allows residents to share concerns and feelings, to disseminate useful information on maintaining the home and landscape, to have fun community events, and to team up and help people in need. True - this community has managed to keep the HOA fees low compared to others, for the services offered. This is because the residents and their elected officials work hard to keep it that way. True - this community succeeded in getting inspections and repairs done and in getting street tree plantings for Clubhouse Lane. Because residents volunteer their precious time so the community can benefit in value and livability. True - the truth can be sweet too. Just visit our community and find out the truth - you can see why this could well be one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the area.

    This website is so bogus.

The neighborhood rocks and the neighbors are fabulous. Supportive and caring, giving, helping each other and VERY social.

The course has opened and every day I walk my children through and the golfers are amazingly courteous to me and the children. I love living here. It is very convenient to get to 495/Pike, 146, to Worc, Providence, Boston and Hartford.

I love the one level living. I have never in my life lived in a neighborhood with such great people who are so willing to lend a hand.

There is nothing negative I have to say about Shining Rock's community. Pulte has always fixed the issues we needed to deal with, which every homeowner who builds new encounters. My parents built a million dollar house near IBM in New Milford CT years ago and had way more "issues" than we have ever encountered.

We have a fabulous Trustee committee and dedicated residents who participate in landscape and other committees such as the social committee. There is a pizza night pretty soon. There are always events happening here.

The bottom line is this. I love my house, I love my neighbors, and I love, love, love this most beautiful place. It is stunning to live here and every day I am amazed by the beauty of how it is living up here on "the Rock".

If I need anything I can count on my neighbors, any one of them, just to make a phone call and they will do whatever it takes to help me.

That itself is worth its weight in gold.

Oh and the one level living, very awesome if you have small kids, a bad back, and a husband who travels. Or, if you are older and don't want to do stairs that often.

I love my house and can't imagine life without it, actually. Or my neighbors.

It's all good until the hatin' begins - bogus? Perhaps this helps -

    Bogus: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bogus

anything "bogus" can be removed - just point out the specifics and back it with the facts. Facts, by the way, are:

Pretty weak verbal grenade, by the way.
